A Country Walk

Hutton Country Park
The park is located to the north of Hutton and can be accessed either by a gate in Wash road (opposite the Tallon industrial Estate) or via an entrance at the top of Sunray Avenue.

Projects underway or starting soon:
The entrance at Sunray needs finishing with work also required to divert a road drain discharge
Wash Road pedestran entrance needs tidying, and the foundations to the entrance are to be landscaped with soil donated from work at Warley hospital
The large pond is to be cleared this autumn (2001)
Tree planting is to be started this Autumn alongside wash Road and in the northern fields by the electricity transformer station

Fence line along Wash Road cleared and new fence installed
New fence along the railway line and by the electricity transformer station
Boradwalk across marshy area
2 new vehicle bridges installed
2 new kissing gates and field gates installed
3000 hedge plants planted along railway line and Wash Road
Bird survey by Essex Wildlife Trust
Rubbish clearance
